Where the lagoon is
Lessons are at My Hoa, Ninh Hai, next to Phi Kite School, in Phan Rang–Thap Cham, Ninh Thuan. You can walk from the beach to the water. I am in the water with you, not calling instructions from the sand.

What the water is for
The lagoon is shallow and protected. That is why beginners start here: you can repeat a waterstart, stop, and try again without being pushed down a wave. Riders who already ride use the same flat water for jumps, rolls, and loops, because you can see the landing.
Outside the lagoon there is open water and waves. We go there for strapless riding when you are ready and the ocean is in a good mood. We do not start a first lesson out there.
A day at My Hoa Lagoon
We meet on the beach, look at the wind, and agree what the hour is for. Beginners set up the kite, fly it on the sand, then body-drag and waterstart in the lagoon. Riders go straight to the skill they came to fix. The session stays private. One student, one coach.
Mornings are usually for learning and jumping. If the afternoon ocean is clean and you are at that level, we can move to the waves. The day ends on the same beach, often as the light drops. That sunset is the one I can show you. I do not keep a separate list of sunrise photography spots.
Wind at the lagoon
I teach here from mid-November to March, inside the longer November-to-April wind season on this coast. The live model forecast for this spot is the Windguru table on the homepage, the lessons page, and the trips page. It is not a promise that every hour will be rideable. If a day is too light or too strong to teach safely, we move the lesson and you keep the hour.
Staying next to the water
If you book a five-night trip, the private room, breakfast, and airport transfer are arranged with Phi Kite School, beside the lagoon. Gear for the lessons is included. I do not list other guesthouses or hotels.
If you are already staying somewhere else in Phan Rang, book the hours only. Beginner lessons are the path from the beach to riding on your own. Coaching is for riders who want big air or strapless wave riding.
